<p> Travis Kaufman, DMSc, PA-C, FIBODM, is a Physician Associate and the Doctor of Executive Leadership Program Director at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education. He believes that leadership is forged through service, resilience, and the ability to make sound decisions in times of crisis and uncertainty. A retired U.S. Army Officer, Dr. Kaufman has led global health, disaster, and operational medicine programs in more than 91 countries; served as Chief Medical Operations Officer for the White House Medical Unit under three U.S. Presidents; and developed graduate-level programs that bridge medicine, leadership, and executive decision-making. </p>
<p> He is the founder of 25th Parallel Med and serves as faculty in Dignitary and Protective Medicine with the Beth Israel Deaconess/Harvard Medical School Disaster Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Kaufman also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board for the Fellowship of the International Board of Disaster Medicine, contributing to global education and standards in disaster and crisis leadership.</p>
<p> His distinguished service has been recognized with the Presidential Service Badge, the Order of Military Medical Merit, and the AMSUS Andrew Craige Allied Health Professional Award. He holds a Doctor of Medical Science in Emergency Medicine, is a Fellow of the International Board of Disaster Medicine, and completed the White House Tactical Medical Officer Fellowship in Dignitary and Protective Medicine, shaping his approach to executive protection, leadership, and readiness in high-threat environments.</p>
